Bio of President – Edgar L. Edwards (Principal)
Eddie launched Edwards Construction Group, LLC in 2011 to capitalize on the opportunities that exist within the $500 billion construction industry. As a distinguished United States Army veteran, Mr. Edwards is growing the company by using his 20+ year’s previous military and military business consulting experience. The company will focus on offering construction services to its governmental, commercial, and residential clients. Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Edwards contributed to the success of the $16.1 billion Computer Sciences Corporation and the $2.0 billion Raytheon Technical Services by fulfilling Business Development Consultant duties over a 10 year period.
Eddie is a dedicated professional with a combination of over 32 years experience in strategic defense operations and business development. He mimicked the success of his outstanding military career into the civilian sector resulting in billions of dollars in U.S. government solicitation wins for major US Government defense contractors. Eddie is proficient in government and commercial solicitation business development to include: facilities maintenance and construction, security and force protection, operations and maintenance, infrastructure services, logistics and contingency operations, aviation maintenance and engineering, and mission and range services.
As a former member of the Corps of Engineers he gained extensive knowledge of the construction industry from the planning through project completion phases. He also has expert safety operations knowledge and served as Safety Director for one Nevada’s premier construction companies.
Rapidly promoted during his Army career, Eddie is now a senior military retiree. A career soldier, he gained extensive experience in combined arms operations, supply, maintenance, and transportation. As he progressed through the ranks, Eddie held many leadership positions within the United States Army.
Bio of Human Resources Manager - Linda Nash
Linda has over 25 years experience in Human Resources working for major commercial corporations. Linda previously worked in the Human Resource Department at Raytheon Technical Services Company. One of her notable assignments was the successful phase-in of 1,500 full time employees at Fort Irwin, CA. As a key member of the team, Linda was instrumental in the successful phase in of the project, on time and within budget. She has managed, corporation-wide, the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs.
